Cassandra Gavel is the Principal Therapist and Founder of the practice. With over a decade of experience as a qualified Social Worker, Cassandra is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, a Medicare provider, and a highly skilled integrative therapist who tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
Her career has spanned both Australia and the United Kingdom, across a wide range of clinical settings including mental health services, hospital social work, and community-based programs. She has worked extensively with victim-survivors of family and domestic violence, adolescents transitioning out of the foster care system, and people experiencing complex trauma, eating disorders, and acute mental health difficulties.
Cassandra has a strong interest in performance psychology and draws from her own background in competitive dance to support elite and aspiring athletes, creatives, and professionals. She helps clients navigate performance under stress, team dynamics, and the complexities of leadership and people management in high-pressure environments.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that therapy is not about "fixing" people—but about celebrating them as they are, while helping them to understand and overcome the internal barriers that may be holding them back.
Cassandra also provides individual and group clinical supervision, and is widely regarded for creating safe, reflective spaces that promote professional growth and emotional sustainability for fellow clinicians.
Her work is informed by extensive post-graduate training, including:
Cassandra is committed to creating spaces of safety, curiosity, and self-compassion—where individuals can reconnect with themselves, build psychological flexibility, and create lasting change in their lives.

Her approach is grounded in empathy, empowerment, and collaboration, helping clients build the insight, self-compassion, and practical skills needed to move toward their goals and live in alignment with their values.
Drawing on her own lived experience of recovery, Caitlin brings authentic understanding to the challenges of reducing or ceasing alcohol use, particularly within the context of Australian party culture. She has a strong interest in helping clients develop healthy boundaries, self-compassion, and confidence, especially those who identify as people-pleasers or struggle with over-responsibility in relationships.

This perspective informs her compassionate work with clients who are learning to cultivate a kinder and more balanced relationship with themselves.
Caitlin is passionate about exploring how addiction intersects with perfectionism, neurodiversity, and complex trauma, and she strives to create a therapeutic space that feels inclusive, non-judgemental, and deeply person-centred.
